Mark Taylor

Minister of Music and Media

Life Story

I was blessed to grow up in a home with Christian parents. As a child I remember going to church most Sunday's. I accepted Christ when I was eight and was baptized. I can remember singing in children's choir and in high school I started singing with the adult choir. There were youth ministers and Sunday School teachers who encouraged me in my walk with the Lord over the years. While in high school I surrendered my life to the gospel ministry and wanted to serve the Lord. While attending Howard Payne University in 1988 I met and married my wife Michele. I have been blessed to have three wonderful children, Jessica Biffle, Jeremiah and Jade Taylor and an awesome son-in-law Cameron.

My Hope For DWMBC

My hope is that we are a church that loves the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, that we desire to share the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ with the world, and that we worship the Lord in spirit and in truth.

Justin Grack

Pastor of Youth and Family Ministry

LIfe Story

I grew up all over the United States. My dad was in the Army and constantly making friends became a huge burden for me. When we finally settled down in Stafford VA it was the first time in my life where I wasn't constantly worried about moving. I did not grow up in a Christian home, but by the grace of God my senior year I met a friend who invited me to church. After graduation in 2005, I was invited to attend a summer camp where I dedicated my life to God, and it has been up hill ever since. A year later I began working at that very camp as an intern then got hired on full time. I volunteered at local churches while I was finishing my degree in Biblical studies, and now I am here at the amazing DWMBC. I may be young in my faith, but I am very passionate about God and continuing to rely on Him fully.

My Hope For DWMBC

I pray that we are continually equipping each other and ourselves for the Gospel. It is my hope that we do this through local and overseas evangelism and that Christ will continue to be exalted in all that we do.

Debbie Quan

Weekday Early Education Ministry Director

Life Story

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home with parents who were great examples of Christian servants. My Mom was the church treasurer, taught Sunday school and VBS, and was very active in WMU. My Dad was a deacon, Sunday School teacher and worked with the RAs.

I became a Christian when I was 8 years old. Youth choir and my youth group were my social outlets. I attended Houston Baptist University and graduated in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I worked at Memorial Northwest Hospital, Texas Children's Hospital and at Baylor Family Practice. I married Larry Quan and moved to Trinity in 1980. We have four children, Christie, Cindy, David and Daniel, who grew up in Trinity and are now pursuing the paths God has for them in Victoria, Denton and Los Angeles.

I have been the Director of our Child Care Center since 1987. My life verse is Col 3:23, "Whatever you do, do it with all your heart, to the Lord, not to men."

My Hope For DWMBC

My hope for DWMBC is that we will continue to serve our community and grow our love for God and bring others to understand how deep, long and wide his love is for them.

Emily Boyd

Ministry Assistant

Life Story

I grew up in a Christian home and accepted Christ as a teenager, but it wasn't until my early twenties that I really began to truly walk daily with Christ and understand His never ending love for me and truly accept His grace. God called me to the ministry nineteen years ago and I have had the priviledge of serving on ministry teams at three churches. In August of 1994 I married my husband Jeff and together we have two of our greatest blessings: Josh and Natalie.

My Hope For DWMBC

It is my hope that DWMBC will continue to reach out to the lost in our community by showing the love of Christ to others through kindness and acts of compassion, so that they too may know Him and desire to follow Him.
