women's ministries

The mission statement of Dorcas Wills Memorial Baptist Church is to glorify God by making disciples through the Gospel. The Women's Ministry seeks to implement this mission by hosting several in-depth Bible studies each year. It is by intensely studying God's word together in a small group of women that we encourage, motivate, support, and learn from each other. In addition, the Women's Ministry offers retreats, luncheons, and other events periodically to allow for fellowship among the generations of women in our community.

See below for a complete listing of our upcoming bible studies and ministry events.

Join us beginning on April 12th as we embark on an 8 week study to discover All Things New as we look at Paul's letter to the Church of God in Corinth. The class will meet until May 31st.

We will be meeting each Monday beginning at 7:00 PM via ZOOM. Each session will last 1.5 hours or less.

Books may be purchased from the church office for $16 each or they can be ordered from Lifeway or Amazon. You can also purchase an E-book from Lifeway.com.

Making mats for the homeless - POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19

Every Tuesday beginning March 24th at 11:30 AM, a group of ladies will be gathering together in the Family Life Center to work on making plastic bedding mats for the homeless community.

These sleeping mats are made from plastic grocery sacks that are being recycled. The bags are cut into strips and then crocheted into rows to form a mat.

Contact a member of our missions team or the church office for additional details.
